Internal Mapping
The Internal Mapping feature allows you to connect one room type and rate plan with another within the same property. This ensures that availability and reservation data stay synchronized across related room types.
How to Add Mapping
- Go to the Internal Mapping section.
- Select a Room Type and its Rate Plan.
- Select a different Rate Plan from another Room Type.
For example, mapping Whole Villa 3 BR Room Only with Standard Double Retail From Whole Villa 3 BR means that a reservation created in either room type will also be created in the other automatically.
- Click Add Mapping.
How to Delete Mapping
- Click the Delete button next to the mapping you wish to remove.
- The mapping will be removed immediately.
NOTE:
- Always map between different rate plans.
- Ensure that selected room types and rate plans are correct before saving.
- Deleting a mapping is immediate and cannot be undone.

Troubleshooting Internal Mapping Issues
Unable to add a new mapping
- Make sure both selected rate plans belong to different room types.
- You cannot map a room type with itself or use the same rate plan on both sides.
- Check if the mapping already exists to avoid duplication.
System creates duplicate reservations incorrectly
- Verify that the mapped room types and rate plans are correct.
- Check if the same room type was accidentally mapped with multiple overlapping rate plans.
Mapping doesn't trigger reservation duplication
- Confirm that the mapping was successfully added and is visible in the mapping list.
- Make sure the reservation is created in a room type involved in the mapping.
- Ensure there are no issues with the room setup or inactive rate plans.
Delete button does not work
- Try refreshing the page and deleting again.
- If the issue persists, ensure you have the correct access permission to modify mappings.
- Contact Bookandlink Support if deletion still fails after retrying.
